Birmingham has made a growing reputation of being a party arena of the likes of Liverpool and Manchester, and with a variety of bars and clubs to choose from it’s a good reputation. If dancing the night away and international DJ’s are to your liking then you’re in the right place.

Broad Street

As it’s a mecca of new party clubs and bars in one rowdy strip, this is the place to be.

Known as a super club, PRZYM is one of the most fun places to party. Renowned for hosting epic party nights they offer several massive rooms to dance in all with cutting edge music and stage visuals


Rosies offers five rooms across two floors including; a retro room, a Martini and Mojito room and a VIP bar which is Asian inspired. It’s also open until 4 am so you can fit plenty of dancing in before you call it a night.


With an impressive team of DJ’s Walkabout will get you jumping no matter what music is playing. The Aussie themed party bar is no stranger to bouncy castles, ice-cold beers, a selection of shots and chart hits.

Velvet Music Rooms

From an inviting bar on the night-time to a fantastic nightclub on the nightclub, Velvet Music Rooms offers a whole host of drinks. The top floor, sugar suite offers booths and tables with a brilliant night club feel. Better yet, it’s just two minutes from hotels like the Hampton so you can stumble home in the small hours of the morning.

Coyote Ugly

Based on the legendary film you can expect people dancing on the bar counter, with a wide selection of drinks. Dance the night away and even book a booth. You’ll receive a shot card with our nightlife passes too.


This is Birmingham’s creative centre, where tunes are perhaps a little more alternative.


If it’s rustic charm that you want Lab11 gives it to you in a warehouse plot with street food on Fridays. DJ’s and House artists attend to showcase their music alongside some local talents as well.


With a rooftop terrace and three rooms of clubbing, PST is the home of Reggae and Dub music. Their People Standing Together motto gives a sense of community and they host yearly outdoor summer parties to really get the party started.

The Institute.

In the late-night scene it’s party royalty, having hosted both the Foals and Rita Ora it has music to everyone’s taste. You can rave and dance in the same location, originally built as a chapel in 1955. Four separate rooms make up this mecca, the main auditorium able to hold 1,500 people.

Acadian and Gay Village

It’s a contrasting mix of mellow music and raucous partying, perfect for those who want a bit of everything.


Dance in luxury with velvet booths, boudoir themed rooms and gigantic Buddha statues. Take the party outside to the Moroccan themed garden. There are regular DJ’s, special guests and a 900 person capacity you can add a bit more style to your stag or hen night.

The Core Club

Everyone is welcome at this wild gay club. Party animals will have a brilliant time here with drink deals, renowned DJ’s and classic RnB tunes. You can even have a sit down in one of the smaller lounge rooms decked out with plush sofas and moose heads on the walls.


Drink a range of cocktails in orange booths while listening to funk and soul music. If you want more of a chill night, alongside some beers and a few glasses of wine, this is the place to be.
